Welcome to EM Portraiture. Fellow art lovers, my name is Elaina Robins and I’ve been practicing portraiture for more than a decade. As a studio fine arts major, I had the opportunity to delve into various media and capture countless subjects. However, nothing kept me quite so enamored as the human face. Each person possesses such beautifully unique attributes all coalescing together to form a façade rich with personality and character. The majority of my portraiture is hyper-realistic in nature. Charcoal allows me to play with not only contrast, but also gives me the ability to perfectly capture even the smallest of details.
